Scooby-Doo and Shaggy find a note inviting the Sheriff to visit the Faux Ghost nightclub. Inside, the gang find a book that serves as an instruction manual on how to create monsters. Suddenly, while searching for clues around the Sheriff's office, the group accidentally falls through a trapdoor and into a cage targeting unwelcome callers, but escape with the aid of Daphne's cosmetics. This angers the gang because they believe the Sheriff has tricked them into getting their jobs back, so they visit his office to berate him when they realize he isn't home. The gang are ridiculed by journalist Heather Jasper Howe, who starts a smear campaign against them.

However, while attending the opening of an exhibition at the Coolsonian Criminology Museum commemorating their past solved cases with monster costumes on display, their celebration is cut short when a masked man, known as the Evil Masked Figure, steals two costumes using the reanimated Pterodactyl Ghost. Scooby-Doo and the gang must clear their names and save the world in order to make one final stand against their past mysteries together and survive.įollowing their return to business after the Sheriff reluctantly agrees to give back their job as Mystery Inc., Scooby-Doo and the gang have became world famous after saving Moonscar Island the second time.
